In the food division (bulk food products), the AFFES group is made up of the following production units:

COUSCOUS: sold under the brand-name "DIARI", couscous is produced in three varieties : Normal (Small, Medium and Large) , wholemeal and mesfouf.

 

PASTA: sold under the brand-name "SPIGA", production is more varied and is made up of about thirty different types of short, long, wholemeal and flavoured pasta;

BARLEY PRODUCTS: sold under the brand-name "FRIGA", barley is ground and dried to make barley soup (Chorba Fric) , barley couscous (Malthouth) and semolina for barley bread (Tchich Khobz) ;

HARD WHEAT SEMOLINA: sold under the brand-name "SBOULA", this is ground durum wheat. Production is in three different grain sizes. The small semolina is used by pasta and couscous factories. The medium and large semolinas are used in the home ;

BREAD AND CAKE FLOUR: sold under the brand-name "SBOULA", common wheat is ground to produce a flour for industrial and domestic use.
